🌍 About Armação de Pêra

Armação de Pêra is a popular resort in the Algarve, known for its welcoming atmosphere and an excellent selection of beaches. Close to the old town, you’ll find Praia dos Pescadores, where you can often see fishermen mending their nets along the beach and the traditional fishing boats. Many of these boats are still used for fishing, while others offer boat tours to explore the fantastic caves near Armação de Pêra and Benagil.

The beach has several access points along its stretch, as well as many cafés and restaurants by the beach and above it.

🌅 Praia da Armação de Pêra has many areas with specific names, such as Praia da Fortaleza, in front of the large Fort, and Praia do Mini Golf, which, as the name suggests, was next to a mini golf course that was there for decades and became a popular meeting point for many holiday families. Although the course is no longer there, it has been replaced by a beautiful garden area with benches to relax and enjoy the views.

Praia da Armação de Pêra is supervised by lifeguards during the summer season and is also classified as an "Accessible Beach".
